  Tea Tree with Dead Sea Mud at The Colony online boutique by Jay McCarroll. Handmade hot process soaps, natural oils, butters, botanicals, essentials, clays and fragrances, body soaps.
 
This bar is a blend of dead sea clay and tea tree essential oil. I used to sell a similar version which was a melt and pour olive oil base. I've decided to discontinue my melt and pour bars. You are sure to love this one much, much more, I'm sure! It's chock full of natural luxury oils, a blend of three butters and aloe vera. I've also enriched with rose hip seed oil, vitamin e, raw beeswax and a bit more aloe just for an added extra skin hug.

I've added no added colorant or scents - just a wonderful natural bar that your skin will love.

The Dead Sea is famous for its restorative abilities. For ages people have flocked to its shores in search of healing and rejuvenation. It seems strange that humans should find such properties in a sea in which almost no life can survive. Only minuscule amounts of bacteria and microbial fungi are able to live in the saline rich waters of the Dead Sea.

Yet, the very mineral and saline content that prevents the Dead Sea from supporting flora and fauna, is what gives the water the beneficial properties it is known for. The water of the Dead Sea is about 8.6 times as salty as ocean water. The Dead Sea is also rich in a variety of minerals, such as Potassium, Calcium, and Magnesium. These minerals are said to improve circulation, remove toxins and impurities form the skin, tighten pores, as well as promote healing and relaxation.

Please keep your soaps in a well draining soap dish and allow them to dry out between uses. Otherwise they will drink up all the water and turn into a bloated mushy mess.
